Feedback on Philips Viva Collection Masticating Juicer – Concerns on Juice Extraction Efficiency

Dear Philips Team,

I recently purchased the Philips Viva Collection Masticating Juicer and wanted to share some honest feedback based on my experience so far.

While I was excited about the product and had high expectations from a brand like Philips, I’ve noticed a recurring issue with its performance — the juice extraction does not seem efficient. The leftover pulp is quite wet, indicating that a significant amount of juice is still retained and wasted. This defeats the purpose of using a slow juicer, which is supposed to extract maximum nutrition and juice.

At this point, the output does not justify the investment made in the product. I genuinely feel the performance can be improved, and I’m happy to assist in any way I can — whether that’s providing a demo of the issue or sharing detailed feedback to help your team enhance the design or functionality.

Please feel free to reach out to me if needed. I’d be glad to support in making this product more effective for consumers.

Best regards,
Jubi

Saves Money Long-Term

I used to buy ₹150 juice packs every day. Now I make better juice for much less.

Juicing Made Fun

My daughter loves juicing with me—easy and safe enough for her to help.

Doesn’t Take Up Much Storage

All the parts are modular. I store the whole thing in one cabinet shelf.

FAQs

What types of fruits and vegetables can I juice?

Use fresh fruits and vegetables, as they contain more juice. For the best taste, use fruits and vegetables directly from the refrigerator.

Suitable fruits include apples, pears, pineapples, grapes, pomegranates, oranges, and melons.

You can juice all your favorite fruits, including pomegranates, and the juicer provides up to 80% extraction from fruits and vegetables, making it ideal for leafy greens as well.

Can I juice citrus fruits with my Philips juicer?

Yes, you can juice citrus fruits with your juicer.

We advise you to peel them before juicing because on the one hand, the peel may be chemically treated, and on the other hand, the white pith of the fruits tastes bitter and may affect the taste of the juice.

Are the parts dishwasher safe?

Yes, all detachable parts of the juicer are dishwasher safe, making cleanup quick and convenient.
