With great excitement i brought this for the family , i recieved a defective piece, the coil came down on the tray... wour lights hot tripped, all that is fine, may be 1 pc came like this but a now during service claim it is taking time, the excitement is turned into frustration 🫤 awaiting for quick responses ,i did all my formalities regarding the service , it today is 5th day... and just more time needed for your service team.
I purchased a Philips air fryer and have been following up with the company for months due to a recurring product issue. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the quality of the product and the way Philips has handled the matter.
The tray has a plastic locking component that secures it to the door. After only a few days of regular use, this plastic component melted. Philips claimed that the damage was caused by mishandling, which I find difficult to accept when the product is specifically designed for heating and regular cooking—not to be kept as a showpiece.
What is even more frustrating is that this appears to be a recurring issue with this type of product. Despite repeatedly contacting the company, I was not offered a refund. Instead, I was given options such as replacing the tray or purchasing another Philips product at a discount.
I have spent months following up, wasting considerable time and effort, without receiving a satisfactory resolution. Eventually, it feels like the company's attitude is simply: take the replacement or deal with it yourself.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend checking the product quality and after-sales service carefully before purchasing a Philips air fryer.
