Cannot decide if airfryer is great or not!

Most recipes in airfryer home id is either off by big margin or just straight up not giving us desired results. This whole thing ended up making me wondering if its working fine or is there any fault in the product, Like frozen fries steps in homeid was bake it at 180c for 15 - 20 min with shaking basked thrice inbetween. I still ended up with soggy fries, like even when i tried 3 pc of frozen nuggets for 15 min at 180, it was soft, this whole thing has baffled me.
