No clear product description of replacement spares… really disappointing that wrong product sent and no replacement or refunds are issued

I had a very disappointing experience purchasing a spare part from Philips online.

I ordered a chutney jar assembly assuming it would be compatible with my mixer, as it looked exactly the same. Unfortunately, the product does not fit my machine at all, making it completely useless. Despite multiple emails and attempts to resolve the issue, the response I received was extremely rigid and unhelpful.

Their team keeps repeating that the product delivered matches the order and, as per their policy, they cannot offer a return or replacement. This kind of response completely ignores the practical problem a customer is facing. If a product cannot be used, what value does it serve?

It’s surprising and disappointing that a brand of this scale does not show flexibility or customer-centric thinking in genuine cases like this. In today’s time, where online shopping depends heavily on trust and service, such policies and responses feel outdated and unreasonable.

I even offered to pay the difference for the correct product, but there was no willingness to assist. That says a lot about how customer concerns are handled.

Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious while ordering spare parts from the Philips website. Make absolutely sure about compatibility, because if something goes wrong, you may not get any support at all.
